Leadership

Kevin Cowdrey is the Pastor of Milton Baptist Church and a council member of Prophetic Witness Movement International. Kevin grew up in Northern Ireland where, as a young man he got caught up with loyalist paramilitaries. The turning point in Kevin’s life came when he met Jesus and got saved in 2007, going on to study at the Theological College of North Staffordshire. Kevin was ordained in 2016 and the same year took up the Pastorate of Calvary Baptist Church, where he served until 2021, leaving to take up the Pastorate at Milton. Kevin’s passion is expounding the word of God, clearly and carefully, to reach all ages. Kevin is married to Clare and they have two young children together.

William Campbell is an elder at Milton Baptist Church and is married with four children. He became a Christian 24 years ago after having spent over a decade caught in a lifestyle of alcohol and drugs. Accepting Christ as his Saviour changed his life. Having subsequently studied at bible school, William also ministers as a lay preacher and seeks to reach men and women for Christ.

The ministry at Milton Baptist Church is supported by a team of deacons and children's workers, who play a vital role in the work of keeping a busy Church running! We adopt a "many hands make light work" philosophy and try to involve as many as possible in the work and life of MBC Stoke. It is our firm belief that a healthy Church is one where each member of the body is functioning and serving as it should (1 Cor 12:2).
